Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Unovative ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the Searis marketing website and demo enquiries. For privacy questions, contact searis@unovative.com.
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Contact details you submit through the demo form or email — such as name, work email, company, fleet size, and message content;
- Technical data automatically collected by our hosting or analytics tools — such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and approximate location; and
- Communications you send us about Searis or related services.
This marketing site does not require an account login. Customer data processed inside the Searis application is governed by the applicable customer agreement and product privacy terms.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to demo requests and sales enquiries;
- schedule product walkthroughs and follow up on conversations you initiate;
- improve the website, content, and user experience;
- maintain security and prevent abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell your personal information. Demo form submissions are directed to searis@unovative.com.
4. Legal bases
Where required by applicable law (including GDPR-style regimes), we process personal data based on one or more of: your consent; our legitimate interests in operating a marketing site and responding to business enquiries; and/or performance of steps prior to entering a contract at your request.
5. Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us host the site, send or receive email, or operate analytics — only as needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Links to third parties such as Unovative are subject to those parties' own policies.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic operation, or that help us understand traffic and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
7. Retention
We keep enquiry-related information for as long as needed to respond to you, manage the sales relationship you requested, and meet legal or operational requirements. We then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, email searis@unovative.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
10. International transfers
If you access the site from outside the country where our systems or providers operate, your information may be processed in other jurisdictions. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Children
This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date shows when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
